OXFORD AND COTSWOLDS TOUR - SHAKESPEARE

Departure in the morning, first stop at OXFORD, city famous worldwide for its university (Oxford University) . It is the oldest English-speaking university, considered one of the top 10 universities in the world. Recently one of its colleges, “Christchurch College“ was chosen to serve as the setting for filming the Harry Potter film. Oxford was also the birthplace of important and famous books in world literature, such as - Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien, and many others.

Then on to Stratford-Upon-Avon, the city where the famous writer of the book Romeo and Juliet, WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE , was born. Visit the house where the writer was born, Warwick Castle and a panoramic tour of the small town.

On the way back to London, passing by COTSWOLD S, a chain of small hills in the center of England, ruins and rock formations, beautiful small towns and villages, an area highlighted by its natural beauty. In this region that is the source of the River Thames, making stops in picturesque places in the countryside of England.
